The process was invented in the 19th century and still thrives as 'The Reigning Queen' of fine art photographic print process. This printing is regarded as the most expensive and collectible of print methods. The workshop covers a thorough knowledge of the historic process, hands-on experience that includes making a digital negative, hand-coating paper, contact printing, exposing, developing, and washing. Participants will leave the workshop with 2-3 finished platinum/palladium prints to add to their portfolio. The fee also covers the cost of chemicals, papers, and negatives.
